What is WEB HOSTING ?
Providing space on Internet servers for the storage of World Wide Web sites which can be accessed by others through the network. This service is usually offered by ISPs or web hosting specialists.

1. Shared Hosting:
Shared hosting is nothing but the number of websites hosted in a server, which are all sharing the hosting space, RAM, Bandwidth etc.,
2. Dedicated Hosting:
User or Client will have his/her own Server. He/She has the full access to the Server, he/she can make any changes or modification as per their need. Which means the client is responsible for the security and maintenance of his own dedicated server.
3. Reseller Hosting:
Reseller is nothing but, the client or User can buy any of the above mentioned hosting plans and they can sell it to the third party. Resellers’ accounts may vary tremendously in size: they may have their own server.
Above mentioned are the most common hosting plans. Ther are other many Hosting Services like Managed hosting service, Clustered hosting etc,.
What is Web Server?
Web Server is nothing but a software used to process the user request like sending and receiving data, processing data and send responses back to the requester. For instance, if you have a website www.getbestrank.com a web server recognizes your request, processes your information, determines what you are asking for, forms the data it will return to you such as a web page, then send it back to you.
